The reserves and output of copper in China have a certain limit,and the gap between copper production and consumption is increasing.It is difficult for the separation of copper oxide in China because of its low grade,complicated ore composition and serious mud.Therefore,in view of these characteristics of oxidized copper mine,it is of great economic and social benefits to effectively realize the separation of low-grade and refractory copper oxide and to alleviate the contradiction between copper supply and demand in china.In this paper,the ore properties of a refractory low-grade oxidized copper ore in China are studied.On this basis,through a series of single factor test and orthogonal test of dosage,the reasonable reagent system and the best test conditions are determined.Finally,open circuit test and closed-circuit test are carried out.In addition,the sulfidation mechanism of oxidized copper ore was analyzed by the determination of Zeta potential on the mineral surface and the determination of contact angle.The main results are as follows:The study of ore properties shows that the refractory oxidized copper ore belongs to a massive and densely disseminated structure with a copper grade of 0.569% and an oxidation rate of 48.62%.State of complex composition of the oxide copper ore,copper mainly exist in the form of free secondary copper sulfide and copper oxide,prone to secondary slime in the process of grinding,it is difficult to control the flotation process because of sensitive nature of the ore,resulting in poor copper mineral separation index.By investigating propertiesof the ore,the occurrence states of copper in tthe ore were found out and sulfide flotation process were made.The experimental results showed that the dosage of sodium sulfide,the dosage of lime,the dosage of pine oil and the dosage of the collector were synergistic to the crude selection of copper oxide.Adding sodium sulfide into the grinding process can increase the copper recovery rate by 3%~7%.Closed-circuit test shows that the grindingfineness of-0.074 mm accounted for 69.2%,sodium sulfide dosage is 2 kg/t and the effect of lime quantity is 3 kg/t,CM xanthate dosage was 50 g/t,pine oil was 33 g/t,By a flotation process of one roughing,two-cleaning and one-scavenging.,obtained the ideal beneficiation indexes,and get the ideal beneficiation indexes,the final grade of copper concentrate is 20.86%,the recovery is 89.18%.Zeta potential measurement showed that the addition of sodium sulfide could obviously reduce the surface potential of oxidized copper ore,promote the flotation of copper oxide,and increase the copper recovery rate of copper oxide ore.The contact angle measurement shows that the addition of CM xanthate increases the contact angle of copper oxide ore and enhances the floatability of minerals.
