Copper is important for the construction of national economy.Today,the demand for copper is increasing with the rapid development of society and economy in ChinaHowever,due to the insufficient copper resources in China,a large number of copper resources need to be imported.So,it is of great significance for China's economic construction and social development to rationally develop and utilize copper resources to enhance copper self-sufficiency.The object of this research is a copper mine from Dali.The ore process mineralogy shows that the mineral composition is complex,and its valuable minerals are copper,iron and silver.Copper is its main valuable minerals of 0.94%grade,which is deposit in malachite and pseudo malachite as independent mineralsAfter systematic flotation conditional test and flowchart structural test,the optimum flotation process is fixed as "1 roughing-2 selecting-2 scanning".The optimum grinding fineness(-0.074mm)is 80%,in the roughing stage,the dosage of sodium silicate is 800g/t,sodium sulfide 1600g/t,ammonium sulfate 1600g/t,amyl-xanthate 80g/t,hydroxamic acid sodium 80g/t,and ammonium dibuyl-dithiophosphate 40g/t,pine camphor oil 50g/t;in the first scanning stage,the dosages are half of roughing stage;in the second scanning stage,the dosages are half of the first scanning stage except the dosage of pine camphor oil is 10g/t;in the first selecting stage,the dosage of sodium sulfide is 800g/t,the dosage of ammonium sulfate is 800g/t,the dosage of collector that amyl-xanthate is 40g/t and hydroxamic acid sodium is 40g/t;in the second selecting stage,the dosage of amyl xanthate is 20g/t and the dosage of hydroxamic acid sodium is 20g/t.After the test of closed circuit,we have a concentrate of 23.48%grade and 77.56%recovery.The concentrate also includes silver of 762.83g/t grade.Chemical mineral processing is a common treatment for copper oxide.Due to the ore sa mples to be tested are mainly acid silicate,while the content of other alkaline mineral are low.Based on the ore properties,we carried out systematic condition tests about sulfuric acid leac hing.Under the condition of 25? temperature,grinding fineness of 70%-0.074mm particles,sulfuric acid dosage as 30g/L,with 200r/min stirring speed,after 8h acid leaching,we got a r esult of 90.14%leaching rate of copper.On the basis of this test,the expanded column leachi ng test,according to field conditions and equipment,was performed under the circumstance o f30g/L acid concentration,after 32 days' leaching,the leaching rate of copper is 85.26%.
