With development of industry,automation production is widely used in product manufacturing,and the production of specific products needs special production lines to meet the working conditions,aiming at the process of the external cylindrical dry grinding of a nuclear fuel pellet,the research and design of the key equipments of the special production line are carried out,and the overall processing state of the grinding production line is simulated and optimized,finally,the prototype experiment of partial function is done.According to the design requirements of grinding production line,reviews the relevant literatures of nuclear fuel production,based on the design basis of automatic machinery,the research foundation of simulation analysis and queuing theory,this paper research design and optimization of the special production line for the dry grinding of fuel pellets,the main researches in this paper are as follows:(1)According to the design requirements,the general scheme of the production line is designed,integrated the wet grinding of fuel pellets production line design experience and automatic design principle,a complete set of fuel pellets dry grinding production line system is designed,covering the pellets feeding equipment selection,special conveyor belt design,pellets detection device design,pellets sorting device design,the pellets of dry grinding special grinding machine selection,pellets surface dust blowing equipment design,and the entire production line dust collection scheme design.(2)According to the design content of dry grinding automatic production line,combined with the special simulation technology of production line,the whole operation state of the production line is simulated and analyzed,including the research of production bottleneck,the real-time data statistic of production state.(3)Using the mathematical tools of queuing theory to quantify the operation index of dry mill production line,optimize the efficiency of the centerless grinding process with low production rate,and compare the optimization results which combined with simulation technology,and validate the feasibility of queuing theory in optimizing the production line.(4)The physical prototype of the key process is constructed,and the function realization of the centerless grinding,pellets detection and sorting,the dust blowing and the dust collecting of the pellets are verified.Adopting the production line scheme designed in this paper can realize the dry grinding of the fuel pellets and the related function,can satisfy the design requirement of the production line.This paper optimizes the index of production line by using simulation technology and queuing theory,has guided significance to the construction of the actual production line.
