Sound insulation materials play an important role in controlling noise pollution.However,the sound insulation performance of traditional sound insulation material is usually improved by increasing of material mass and thickness,which limits the application due to the heavy weight or large volume.Therefore,in this paper,the nitrile rubber(NBR)-polyvinyl chloride(PVC)blends were taken as the research object,by optimizing the proportion of raw materials,modified filler,and foaming technology,research and development with good sound insulation performance of lightweight materials,and complete the pilot test,for subsequent industrialization provides a good support.First,Nitrile rubber(NBR)and Polyvinyl chloride(PVC)were used as precursors for rubber-plastic blends,and NBR-PVC blend foaming materials were prepared by compression molding foaming.The effect of rubber ratio(mass ratio between NBR and PVC on the cell structure,damping capacity and sound insulation performance of NBR-PVC blend foaming material were studied.The results show that the NBR-PVC rubber-plastic foam with a ratio of rubber to plastic of 50:50 has good cell structure,mechanical properties,damping properties and sound insulation performance,and its sound insulation index is 28.1dB.Secondly,to enhance the sound insulation properties of the NBR-PVC blend foam composite material,the NBR-PVC with a rubber-plastic ratio of 50:50 was used to as base material and Heavy metal particles(HMP)as the modified filler,preparation of HMP/NBR-PVC blend foam sound insulation composite.The effects of HMP content on the microstructure,mechanical properties and sound insulation properties of NBR-PVC blend foam were studied.The results show that adding HMP could change the crystallization behavior and microstructure of NBR-PVC blend foam.When the content of HMP is 30 phr,the pore size and distribution of HMP/NBR-PVC blend foaming materials are uniform,and the mechanical properties and sound insulation performance are the best,its sound insulation index is as high as 30.3dB.Finally,to further improve the sound insulation performance of HMP/NBR-PVC blend foam sound insulation composite,its cell structure was optimized by adjusting the dosage of AC blowing agent.The effects of the amount of foaming agent on microstructure and sound insulation properties of HMP/NBR-PVC blend foam were studied.The results show that when the amount of AC blowing agent is 9phr,the cell closed porosity of HMP/NBR-PVC blend foam sound insulation composite is the highest,and its size and distribution are uniform,and its comprehensive properties are the best.In short,the NBR-PVC blend foaming material with excellent damping performance,mechanical and sound insulation properties can be obtained by regulating the rubber-plastic ratio;and the HMP filler modification,which can improve the mechanical and sound insulation properties of NBR-PVC blend foam,and can optimize the microstructure;further,through AC blowing agent regulating cell structure,to some extent,the HMP/NBR-PVC blend foam of sound insulation performance were improved,finally established the research and development of products formulation preparation process,and other preparation processes,the pilot plant was conducted in the enterprise.The performance of the pilot product was basically the same as that of the laboratory product,which provided the support for the subsequent industrialization.
