Since molds determine the quality of corresponding products directly,the mold industry has been one symbol of a country's industrial development level.Molds have significant influence on the shape accuracy,uniformity and surface quality of glass bottle.Because of the high temperature in productive process,improper temperature distribution will lead to defects in the bottle,such as nonuniform thickness,residual stress,rough surface and so on.Therefore,Analysis and design of the temperature distribution-uniformity in glass bottle mold have great significance.In this paper,temperature distribution in glass bottle mold was analyzed and the structure of mold.Moreover,the cooling system of the mold was analyzed and optimized,and then the analysis and optimization was parametric designed.In order to analyze the heat transmission of mold in productive process,we simulated the temperature distribution of mold by using ANSYS,considering the working condition.According to temperature distribution between neck and body of bottle,to analyze the reason.According to temperature distribution analysis,the structure of glass bottle mold was redesigned based on the TRIZ theory and then contrasted with the original one.We have obtained the correlation between temperature fluctuation and mold material by another experiment.In the redesigned mold,difference of temperature fluctuation between bottle-neck and bottle-body is found,which indicates that the arrangement of cooling tunnel has influence on the fluctuation of temperature.Based on the design principles of parameters in mold cooling system,9 groups of orthogonal experiments were carried out considering the impact of parameters on temperature distribution.By computation and analysis,we obtained a design method by which mold cooling system owning uniform temperature fluctuation can be generated.This provides a reference for further optimization design of the cooling system.By using parameterization and libraries reusing,we completed the parametric design and analysis of optimum cooling system of glass bottle mold.Through examples of parametric design and analysis of cooling system of glass bottle mold for application.The optimum cooling system can be designed efficiently and accurately by inputting the optimum parameters in visual interface.
