This paper takes the Mengjiapuzi iron ore as the background, adopting a method of combining field engineering geological investigation, rock mechanics experiment, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field measurement, targeting to the study about the slope stability analysis and surface subsidence impact.Around this research, this paper will carry out research work in the following three areas:Based on the investigation of geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions, distribution characteristics of ore bodies, mining status so on,it establishes three-dimensional geological model. After field sampling, indoor rock mechanics experiment is conducted to determine the rock mechanical parameters of current mining level, and then completing the rock mass stability classification.Activity patterns of surrounding rock and its influence on stability of slope in the underground mining process are analyzed with FLAC3D.The slope of surface moving belt is drew up by engineering analogy and limit equilibrium method, judging whether surface structure building meets safety distance.Through the observation of slope instability destruction, combined with analysis of the monitoring date, the status of slope stale sedimentatdion can be determined. So the corresponding settlement proposal could be put forward against slope instability and ground sedimentation.
