Spiral bevel gear cutting by completed cutting method is based on the method of gear tooth surface forming processing,simultaneous processing of both pinion sides,which can improve the processing efficiency,processing accuracy.Dry cutting and tooth grinding can also be achieved.Completed cutting method is proposed by the inconvenience of adjusting the machine tool on the traditional machine and influence of the freedom of the machine tool and the standardization of the tool.This method is an important branch of foreign two-cut method,and the related research of Gleason two-cut method adjustment calculation will not be disclosed.In view of the above problems,this paper studies the completed cutting method on the CNC cutting machine precise cutting processing of pinion.To achieve a cutting process for the precision can realizes cutting both sides at the same time and achieve a good quality of contact engagement.The following research has been done on the spiral bevel gear cutting by completed method: gear conjugate meshing principle and generative tooth surface forming principle,gear meshing joint cone characteristics and tooth blank geometry parameters calculation.Established uniform surface equation for generating gear and forming method cutting and based on the principle of meshing gear tooth surface of the gear model construction under the condition of error and the gear conjugated is guaranteed.Based on conjugate differential surface and contact characteristic,the optimization model of machine tool processing parameters is designed,which includes the design and calculation of gear profile modification,the adjustment and calculation of pinion cutting,and the requirement of engagement and contact characteristics based on contact points.The details are as follows:1.Determined by the conjugated meshing principle between generating cutting machine tool,and the relative position between the generating surface and calculation of gear parameters of pitch cone.2.Establish gear tooth coordinate system and a pinion coordinate system that conjugates with gear.From the gear adjustment parameters and tool parameters of gear,determine the gear surface equation of the gear.In the condition of guaranteeing the gear pair transmission,the pinion tooth surface which is completely conjugated with gear is solved.The instantaneous gear ratio relationship of gear pair meshing transmission with preset gear ratio polynomial is established to solve the conjugate tooth surface of pinion based on the given transmission error,and the conjugate tooth surface is modified through the contact characteristic requirements,and the target pinion tooth surface is obtained.3.Through the introduction of the angle of the cutter,the relationship between the horizontal wheel position,the vertical wheel position and the bed position and so on is deduced.Based on the vector equality principle of conjugate contact at the contact reference point,the cutter parameters of pinion are derived,and the relationship between tool inclination and gear installation parameters is established based on contact shape requirements.The high order parameter is introduced to optimize the machining parameters of the pinion machine by using the tooth surface deviation constraint function.4.The contact analysis on the tooth surface of the pinion target and the given tooth surface shows that the contact area of the target tooth surface is consistent with the preset contact area.The actual tooth surface of the pinion is obtained by calculating the machining parameters of the optimized pinion machine tool.The contact area will be offset with the target tooth surface under the action of tooth shape deviation,but the direction of the overall contact area is basically the same as the preset contact area,so as to verify the feasibility of the whole process cutting method.
