The evrironment of the chemical plants is complicated and accompanied by multiple safety accidents.It is difficult for traditional Global Positioning System(GPS)signals to navigate and position due to the metal device structure in chemical plants,which results in trouble in conducting real-time positioning and danger alarm management for operators.Consequently,when accidents happen,the rescure could not be launched in time,causing serious loss of life and property.Therefor,it is extremely important to establish a real-time personnel positioning solution for chemical plants,which is of great significance for protecting personnel safety and the production security of the enterprises.Based on the analysis of core objectives and requirements of the personnel positioning solutions in chemical plants,a Bluetooth signal intensity weighted votinglocalization algorithm that can realize regional positioning was designed.And the solution based on the previous algorithm for regional positioning and safety alarm management was implemented around positioning data perception and core business processing.The main content of this paper are as follows:(1)A positioning alogorithm based on Bluetooth signal intensity weighted voting method was designed for area positioning.At the same time,the regional connectivity configureation mechanism and the behavior recognition mechanism based on atmospheric pressure value were designed to optimize the switching of location areas,thus realizing the inter-layer positioning of chemical plants.(2)The overall deployment strategy of the Bluetooth tag was designed based on the experiment of the Bluetooth signal's distribution characteristics in chemical production sites.In addition,the corresponding label deployment scheme is designed for various location areas to improve accuracy of the area positioning.(3)The alarm management mechanism was designed based on the regional positioning results and acceleration data in realization of core business processing layer.And the paper used rule engine to implement three kinds of dangerous operating condition alarm strategies which mainly include hazardous area intrusion,detention and high-altitude falling alarm.A prototype system was set up to test the function and performance of the personnel positioning solution in detail,which was verified by the actual deployment of a petrochemical enterprise in Jiangxi Province.The results showed that the solution has not only realized real-time regional positioning and carried out alarm management for typical dangerous operating conditions,but also improved the management efficiency of the factory and enhanced the safety of the operators.
