Waste dump is an absolutely necessary part of open-pit mine,It could cause dump disasters with height and capacity increasing of dump,therefore the stability is particularly important of dump slope.The paper combines with the common landslide patterns appearing on the dumping site,through the geological data and the stacking of the scattered body,analyzing potential landslide possibility of Lala Copper Mine dump slope in this paper.It using the Swedish Slice method and the Simplifie Bishop method of the limit equilibrium analysis method to theoretically analyze and calculate of the Lala Copper Mine dump,and theoretical analysis shows that the stability coefficient of the dump site is lower than the specified safety factor;It got the same result which using FLAC3 Dfinite difference software to simulate the stability factor of the dump.Therefore,there is potential landslide possibility of the Lala Copper Mine dump slope,which needs to be managed according to relevant regulations,so as to ensure the stability of the slope and safe production of the mine.It proposes a treatment plan that reduce the final slope of the dump that according to the specific situation of the Lala Copper Deposit.The article uses FLAC3 Dto simulate the stability coefficient corresponding to the different step height of the dump,and obtains the allowable value of the step height through linear regressionm,then obtain the final slope safety platform allowed width when the steps are combined with the same method of the dump.It is finally established the treatment plan of the Lala Copper Mine's dumping as the natural stopping angle is 37°,the height is 20 m of the optimal dump slope,and the height of the remaining benches are 40 m and the width is30 m in this paper.It also proposes the engineering measures to change the dumping site of the Lala Copper Mine from a single step to multiple steps,that is using the blasting throwing to achieve the engineering implementation,and others safety measures just as enhance waterproof and safety monitoring.The Lala Copper Mine waste dump treatment plan has been recognized by the company.After the treatment,its safety and stability can be improved,which is of great significance to the safe production of mine.
