To improve the recovery ratio and lower the cost of production,the Fire Flooding was put forward as the more effective development pattern in some oilfield.Because of the high GLR and the properties of produced liquid and gas,the previous gathering and processing system can not provide the abilities required by the new situation.It is necessary to maximize the ratio of secondary utilization and optimize the layout of the gathering and transferring system for lowering the cost of production.In this paper,the properties of the produced liquid and gas are analyzed to estimate whether the multiphase gathering pipelines meet the requirement.The statistics show that the casing pressures rose and the output of oil and gas decreased when the multiphase gathering pipelines were utilized.The above circumstances have disappeared since sub-transmission was put forward in the gathering and transferring system.Aimed at minimizing the expense of rebuilding the pipe network,this paper builds a mathematical model and adapt the QPSO algorithm to optimize the layout of gathering pipeline system.Various parameters,such as the properties of well production and the pressures of the oil wells,are considered and the optimal layout of the pipe network is computed by programing with MATLAB.The hydraulic and thermal performance are also simulated with the software named PIPEPHASE and the casing pressures of all wells can be checked.The method mentioned in this paper can not only provide beneficial reference for the adjustment and optimization of gathering pipe network in the Fire Flooding oilfields but also be applied to planning and designing the pipe network in other types of oilfields.
