The accuracy and reliability of the instrument has become an important indicator of the performance of the instrument.Accuracy is the key to precise instruments and reliability ensures the accomplishment of various functions of the instrument,therefore the instrument accuracy and reliability of the design process is a very important part of the development processing.Bevel gear geometry and performance tester is a bevel gear measurement system designed to measure the transmission error,vibration noise and grinding burns of bevel gears requiring the ability to detect 4-level precision gears and the average failure interval of no less than 1500 hours.In order to improve the precision and reliability of the instrument,meanwhile,reduce the instrument costs,this research aims at the precision and reliability of bevel gear geometry and performance tester and the error modeling,error distribution,precision analysis,reliability distribution and reliability prediction of the instrument are carried out in the course of developing tester.The main contents of this research include:(1)Precision design of the testerAccording to the mechanical structure of the instrument,the topology structure of the instrument is established using the multi-body system theory and the error character matrixs and the error model of the instrument are established according to the homogeneous coordinate transformation principle.We use sensitivity analysis method to trace the error and establish the instrument's error distribution function adopting the genetic algorithm on the basis of the instrument error model.(2)The reliability design of the instrumentThe reliability model and the mathematical model of the bevel gear geometry and performance tester are established in this research,and the reliability is assigned by the fuzzy comprehensive assessment.And we estimate the reliability and average breakdown maintenance time of the instrument and eventually ANSYS finite element simulation and optimization of the instrument bed and machine are carried out.(3)Experiment researchCompile the motion control program of Simotion motion control system;Test the geometric error of instrument and conduct the error compensation and accuracy analysis of the instrument to verify the instrument error distribution value and the overall geometric accuracy;Perform functional tests,repeat tests,and comparative tests with other instruments on test machines in order to verify the basic functions,repeated accuracy and measurement accuracy of the instrument and the measurement accuracy of the instrument achieved anticipated goal;Reliability test scheme of the instrument is proposed in the end.
