With the increase of environmental pollution and the frequent occurrence of haze,the harm of PM2.5 to body can not be ignored and the importance of masks(PM2.5)is rising.The current basic filter material of masks(PM2.5)is synthetic fiber which is derived from the petrochemical.Due to its hard degradation,difficult recovery,and the follow-up treatment is relatively difficult.Therefore,in this study,plant fiber was used to prepare masks(PM2.5)filter paper on account of its environmental protection,renewable,cheap and available.Subsequently,through the corresponding hydrophobic treatment to reduce plant fiber hygroscopicity to meet the requirements of masks(PM2.5)filter paper.Refered to the filter performance of masks(PM2.5)filter and combined with the international standard of strength requirements for masks paper to verify the filter performance of the masks(PM2.5)filter paper.In this study,using Tencel fiber as raw materials to prepare masks(PM2.5)filter paper.The effects of beating on the performance of masks(PM2.5)filter paper were discussed by different degrees of beating treatment to fibers.At the same time,in order to reduce the production cost of masks(PM2.5)filter paper,cotton pulp,mercerized pulp and Eulaliopsis binata pulp were used to replace a certain amount of Tencel fiber.The effects of different combinations of materials on the performance of masks(PM2.5)paper were investigated to prepare masks(PM2.5)filter paper which can meet the target performance requirements.The results showed that masks(PM2.5)filter paper which prepared from I,II Tencel fiber with the beating degree of 23°SR was meet the experimental requirements.When Tencel fiber was mixed with cotton pulp,mercerized pulp,the ratio of cotton pulp or mercerized pulp was less than 20%.When Eulaliopsis binata pulp was respectively blend with the system of Tencel,cotton fiber and mercerized pulp,the ratio of Eulaliopsis binata pulp should be less than 15%to meet the experimental objectives.Pulp fibers were treated in 20%aqueous NaOH/urea/thiourea solution 3:3:4(NaOH:urea:thiourea)at-2?for 30min,then the modified pulp fibers were beaten to make masks(PM2.5)filter paper,and the effects of beating on the performance of the masks(PM2.5)filter paper were discussed.The results showed that when the beating degree of modified pulp was27°SR,the air permeability was 422.29L/(m~2·s),the maximum pore diameter was 39.60?m,the average pore diameter was 35.70?m,the bulk was 4.03cm~3/g,the tensile strength was1.83kN/m,the wet tensile strength was 0.25kN/m,the zero tensile strength was 310.5N,the performance of masks(PM2.5)filter paper meet the objectives of experiment.Mixed Methyl hydrogen polysiloxane emulsion and Hydroxyl silicone oil emulsion were used to prepare hydrophobic agent to make hydrophobic masks(PM2.5)filter paper that meet the goal of experiment.First of all,Tween-80 and Span-80 as emulsifier,Hydrosilicone oil as dispersed phase,water as continuous phase,using phase inversion emulsification method to make Methyl hydrogen polysiloxane emulsion.When the ratio of Tween-80 to Span-80 was0.42:0.58,the ratio of emulsifier to silicone oil was 1:2,stirring speed was 2000r/min,emulsifying time was 60min,emulsifying temperature was 50?,synthetic hydrogen silicone oil emulsion was uniform and stable,its average particle size was 15.4?m,viscosity was49mPa·s,solid content was 28.50%.Secondly,zinc sulfide was used as the catalyst to synthesize the composite silicone emulsion with cationic Hydroxyl silicone oil emulsion and methyl hydrogen polysiloxane emulsion to make hydrophobic agent of masks(PM2.5)filter paper.The effects of the ratio of hydrogen emulsion to hydroxyl emulsion and the amount of catalyst on the filtration performance and hydrophobicity of masks(PM2.5)filter paper were investigated.The results showed that when the ratio of catalyst was 15%,the ratio of methyl hydrogen polysiloxane emulsion to hydroxyl silicone oil emulsion was 3:7,the performance of masks(PM2.5)filter paper meet the target requirement of study and effectively filter PM2.5particles by analysis and text of filter efficiency and filtration accuracy.the water resistance time of hydrophobic masks(PM2.5)filter paper was 268s,contact angle was 143.3°,air permeability was 297.80L/(m~2·s),the maximum pore size was 38.98?m,the average pore size was 35.04?m,the bulk was 3.82cm~3/g,the tensile strength was 0.47kN/m,the wet tensile strength was 0.129kN/m.
