In recent years,large-scale transportation infrastructure construction has been used in China. The process of national transportation integration has been accelerated by high-speed railways and urban railways, and an upsurge in the construction of integrated transport hub has also emerged in various parts of the country. As a node of various modes of transportation, whether or not the transportation system can operate efficiently is closely related to it.However, various potential risks threaten the safe operation of integrated transportation hubs at all times. Therefore, risk management is an important task for the safe operation of integrated transportation hubs. However, there is a lack of special system research on the operational safety of integrated transportation hubs, the factors and mechanism of disasters are still not clear, and there is also a lack of comprehensive safety evaluation, early warning and emergency decision-making methods. This article is to carry out multi-hazard comprehensive safety operation evaluation research on integrated transportation hubs for the above-mentioned issues, aiming to provide reference for operational security risk management of integrated transportation hubs during the service period. The main work and research findings are as follows:1.The complexities and particularities of the operational safety risks of integrated transport hubs are discussed, and the definition, classification, characteristics, and functions of the integrated transportation hub are analyzed and summarized.Through the analysis of the characteristics of operational safety risks in integrated transportation hubs,it is proposed that risk management for this multi-hazard system of integrated transport hubs should be conducted based on different types of disasters. The risk assessment results of different types of disasters should be applied to the respective prevention and control system,so as to improve the overall disaster prevention and mitigation level of integrated transportation hubs.2.The advantages, disadvantages, and applicability of common risk identification methods are compared and analyzed.Based on the characteristics of an integrated transportation hub,the idea of accident tree method is used as a logical basis, and the WBS-RBS method is used as a tool to identify the risks from the operator,multi-hazards,and operational security risks, which is conducive to mastering the scale, frequency, and spatial and temporal dynamic distribution of hazard factors.3.Based on the cloud-matter element theory,an integrated transportation hub operation security risk assessment model, has been established. The combination of cloud model and matter element model in the field of risk assessment not only expresses the relationship between each disaster and its hazard factors, but also combines randomness and ambiguity.4.Take Shanghai Hongqiao integrated transportation hub as an example, and use the method described in the article to evaluate it.The calculation and analysis found that for the five common emergencies mentioned in the article, the hub is at a low risk, which is consistent with the actual situation. The feasibility of the model is proved.5.A tentative integrated transport hub operation safety guarantee system has been established for the pre-disaster,in-disaster and post-disaster events, which concludes the six subsystems of the disaster prevention and control system, the preventive training system, the monitoring and early warning system, the emergency rescue system, the post-disaster restoration and reconstruction system, and the emergency materials support system, providing theoretical reference for the establishment of physical systems in the future.
