Gears and related products have a wide range of applications.The accuracy of gears has a great influence on the performance of related gear products.The development of gear processing technology is the key to improving the accuracy of gears.At present,hardened face gear processing technology is commonly used in many countries.As a hardened face gear machining method,gear honing technology can effectively improve gear machining efficiency and processing quality of workpiece,and improve gear life.This processing technology has a broad application prospect.In order to meet the needs of the modern industry for high-precision gears and improve the level of gear finishing,in addition to improving the machining process,it is necessary to accelerate the study for the tool of machining gear.Electroplating CBN honing wheel is a kind of process method that uses the bonding effect of plating metal to consolidate the super hard abrasive grain CBN on the surface of the wheel matrix,and this technique has the advantages of long tool life and high precision gear surface.In the process of electroplating CBN honing wheel,the electric double layer capacitance effect is generated at the contact interface between the electrode and the plating solution,and the presence of the electric double layer hinders the electrodeposition of the plating metal and affects the crystallization effect of the plating metal on the surface of honing wheel matrix.The bond strength between the coating and the matrix is low,the distribution of abrasive grains is uneven,and the height of abrasive grain contour is different.In this paper,the mechanism of electrical double layer capacitance effect is analyzed,and a complete physical model and mathematics model for electroplating system are constructed based on the knowledge of electrotechnology.The distribution of electrical double layer capacitance is solved by using MATLAB software.Mechanism and capacitance characteristics of electrical double layer in the process of electroplating CBN honing wheel are studied based on the gear honing processing technology,and the design of the honing wheel matrix and its electric field simulation are carried out.The specific research working is as follows:(1)The problems in the process of electroplating are summarized,and the development of the electrical double layer physical model is outlined.According to the electroplating principle,the pulse plating technique and the theory of electrodeposition,the mechanism of electrical double layer capacitance effect in the process of electroplating is analyzed.(2)The capacitance characteristics of electrical double layer for electroplating CBN honing wheel is studied.The analysis for controlling the electrical double layer capacitance effect is carried out,and the physical model and mathematical model are established.The capacitance of the electroplating honing wheel system is calculated by using MATLAB software.According to the result,the capacitance gradually rises with the increase of pressure angle?_k.The capacitance will increase significantly with the increase of the distance between the axis of the honing wheel matrix and the anode plate.(3)Modeling and deviation Analysis for honing wheel matrix are researched.According to the process parameters of the electroplating CBN honing wheel,two parameter models of the honing wheel matrix are established based on UG/NX software.The tooth profile deviation and lead deviation between the two models are measured and analyzed.The variation of the tooth profile deviation at the dedendum circle?the pitch circle and the addendum circle is larger.Compared with the tooth profile deviation,the lead deviation is small,and the lead deviation has a change trend that shows the symmetry about the middle transverse section along the direction of the tooth width basically.(4)The electroplating system electric field simulations are performed with the two honing wheel matrix model respectively based on ANSYS,the electric field distribution of the electroplating system formed by different matrix models are compared.The distribution rule of the electric field between the cathode and the anode is obtained.According to the simulation result of the electric field analysis,it can be seen that the electric field strength at the addendum circle of the gear teeth is highest,and the electric field intensity at the dedendum circle is the smallest.
