At present,the integrated protection and control system of belt conveyors used in most coal mines in China is mainly composed of PLC as the main controller,together with peripheral relay circuits and explosion-proof enclosures.This type of controller has the disadvantages of large size,inconvenient maintenance,and poor scalability of functions.There are also some shortcomings such as the lack of communication types,single functions,and inconvenient program maintenance for the controller that uses the microcontroller as the control chip.Aiming at this situation,this paper designs and develops a comprehensive protection controller for belt conveyors with multiple functions,supporting multiple communication methods,strong scalability and small size,and capable of remote program maintenance.The controller also has a certain degree of automatic control,good interpersonal interface.Through the preliminary functional tests in the laboratory,the functions are well achieved,and the indicators meet the actual industrial requirements and can meet production requirements.The main research content is as follows:1.The overall structure of the integrated protection controller for the belt conveyor was designed.According to the actual operating conditions,four work modes were designed: centralized control,on-site,overhaul,and jog.The sensors that were mainly protected were selected and analyzed.The electrical parameters of the sensor define the functional requirements of the controller.2.According to the functional requirements,the overall plan for the controller of the belt conveyor controller is formulated,and the selection and design of the core circuit are completed.Including the CPU minimum system circuit,LCD interface circuit,keyboard interface circuit,signal acquisition circuit,system memory interface circuit,communication interface circuit and voice module circuit.In addition,the PCB board is properly routed for the situation where there is more electromagnetic interference under the mine,and the main control board adopts 4-layer board,which can effectively resist interference.Comprehensively improve the stability of the controller.3.The software structure of the belt conveyor controller is designed,and the entire controller is programmed separately according to the functional division module through the modular design idea.In order to make full use of CPU resources and make the software system run efficiently and stably,this controller has added the embedded operating system ?C/OS-II.At the same time,in order to be able to remotely maintain the controller code also added the IAP function.Finally,the system application program,including the software design of three communication modes of RS-485,CAN and Ethernet,the software design of various protection function modules,and the data collection and processing method of the entire system are described.4.Functional verification of the entire control system under laboratory conditions,first set the appropriate parameters,and then input various sensor signals to the controller,due to limited equipment in the laboratory conditions using existing equipment for various The sensor signal was simulated.Through multiple functional verifications,the controller performance is stable and reliable to meet the control and protection requirements of the belt conveyor.The interpersonal interface is well-interactive,and the keyboard can achieve a good control input function and high use value.
