Hammer crusher is a kind of common material fragmentation equipment in industrial production.It is mainly used for the fragmentation of soft or medium-hard materials.Because of the impact and cutting effect in the crushing operation,a large abrasion appears usually in main components of hammer crusher,especially the hammer itself.Thus,reducing the consumption of hammer material has made an important influence on the running cost reduction while ensuring the performance.This paper regards the KBC-403 hammer crusher as the research object.By analyzing the crushing process the equivalent mechanical model is established.Then a series of dynamic analysis and simulation computation about the model are performed,getting the collision load curve and value.Based on the load and model,static analysis of the hammer crusher is made and obtains the deformation and stress status of the main shaft assembly structure and the main components of the crusher.Through the dynamic analysis,the deformation of the crusher and main shaft assembly on the first six order vibration mode.On the basis of this,the improved proposals are put forward according to the structural design requirements of hammer,Which meets the performance of the hammer and realize the material utilization reduction at the same time.The main research work are focused on the following:3-D geometric models are established of the main components by Pro/E with certain simplification based on the KBC-403 hammer crusher equipment.Considering the linking relationship,the crusher equipment assembly model is established with the components.Then the gap and interference analysis is performed demonstrating the accuracy of all models.This provides the model for dynamic simulation and finite element analysis.According to the characteristics of the crushing process,the mechanical simulation model of the main shaft assembly is set up.The crushing load is obtained by using ADAMS,providing boundary condition for the subsequent calculation.Based on the geometry model and load condition of the crusher,the static and dynamic performance analysis is carried out by using ANSYS software.In the static analysis,the deformation of the hammer is biggest.The stress of the main shaft and the pin shaft is larger than other parts under the crushing load,but it meets the material requirements.The dynamic performance analysis of the main shaft assembly shows that the dynamic performance of the main shaft assembly meets the stability requirements during normal crushing operation.The improved proposal of the hammer is put forward according to the common type in the standards.Through calculation and comparison,the proposal can save 48% materials than original structure in equipment maintenance on the condition of meeting the resistant capacity,which could reduce the maintenance cost and provide more convenient maintenance operation.
