With China's rapid economic development and the rapid increase in theamount of construction in recent years, the threat that increasingly energyconsumption which brought about China's energy needs and the pressure exertedgreen living environment can not be overlooked. Overall, there is a certainsubjectivity to the research for interaction of architectural form, space andenvironment, neglecting different geographical conditions in China, which leadingto the city-specific targeted research ideas and a relatively rigorous researchmethods, especially weak in quantitative research and data processing.Based on the theories and characteristics that affect the atrium windenvironmental factors, the paper focuses on geographical characterization of coldplaces, climatic characteristics and the atrium forms, comprehensive studying therelationship between the atrium form and wind environment with digital simulation.A series of problems such as atrium cold wind environment dominant factors,simulation framework, simulation variable selection and simulation results areanalyzed and disccussed in this paper. Fully considering the forms of atrium layoutand massing, we try to build the interaction simplified model of atrium and windenvironment, and try to reveal the interaction regularities, providing referencerecommendations for the atrium space design practice.According to the targeted simulation results, which has strategic meaning inensuring the green sustainable lifestyles and promoting the steady development ofthe harmonious society.
