Wind load is the main horizontal loads to temporary stand, it increase theprobability that the whole stand has been overturned. And Shadowed bytemporary advertisement board and other non-structural enclosure structure, thewind loading area of temporary stand increased dramatically. In addition, the linkbetween temporary stand and the ground is not fixed. Thus, temporary stand areeasily to be overturned by a wild storm. The service life of temporary structure isshorter than permanent buildings, besides there is no uniform wind resistancedesign code for temporary stand. Therefore, for a particular temporary stand, itswind resistance design should be carried out separately.This paper develops a systematic study of wind load numerical simulation oftemporary stand, the method to identified wind loads and its application indesigning temporary stand. The main contents summarized as following:Firstly, the relevant parameter is introduced to describe wind, and then,pressure coefficient is presented in this paper to identify the wind load on thetemporary stand. And the flow characteristic around the temporary stand isstudied.Secondly, numerical simulation is adopted to identify the wind loads oftemporary stand. The model can be classified as temporary stand with cover ofplane, temporary stand without cover of plane and advertisement board. By thesimulation of above model, the surface wind load distribution characteristic oftemporary stand has obtained. With analyze the distribution characteristic oftemporary stand, the pressure coefficient of mentioned cases is analyzed from thesimulation outcomes. In the end, the worst case of wind load is determined, andits corresponding pressure coefficient is also proposed which can be used for thedesign of temporary stand.Finally, loading method of wind load is presented in this thesis, and then, itis realized by programming and can be directly used to designing temporarystand. By loading the simulation result in without-cover cases on large temporarystand slab, the stress and displacement of the temporary stand is obtained.Firstly, the loading method of wind load is presented in this chapter, and, it is realized by programming. Finally, by loading the simulation result of0o winddirection in without-cover cases on large temporary stand slab, the stress anddisplacement of the temporary stand is obtained.
