During the past20years, the northern winter city face the rapid developmentof high-rise building. High-rise building could improve land utilization andimprove the city's image, it is also the symbol of the city's comprehensive strength.So making high-rise building keep developing in winter city is necessary. However,due to we pursuit efficiency to copy some famous international styles blindly, andlack of systematic design methods and the introduction of the frontier inter-discipline computer simulation technology, high-rise building in winter citydevelopment is not scientific.During the period of growing pursuit of sustainabledevelopment, few of has built high-rise buildings conform to the requirement ofsustainable. And part of being erected high-rise buildings in cold region appearspecious appearance, but lack of the response to the cold climate.Based on the above background, the author focus on sort out the high-risebuilding form design problems, through computer simulation research the high-risebuilding form design; establish evaluation standard for high-rise building formdesign; induction the design technique for high-rise building form design. Theauthor systematic analysis and research on the architecture form optimal design forhigh-rise building in cold region.The first chapter admit the positive side of high-rise building in cold region,then calculate and analysis the high-rise buildings in northern three province.It alsoconclude the collection of the reference research results, and summery the key pointof high-rise building form design. Based on this, the second chapter firstly, inducethe trend of the development of high-rise buildings. Then, clear and definite themain building and podium building form aims to create energy conservation and theform to adapt wind and summarizes the effect factors of high-rise building form.By comparing a variety of high-rise building form design methods to conclude thispaper research ways and software. Finally, the last three chapter are the core part,respectively on the main building form energy saving, deform the main part ofhigh-rise building to weak wind; also with podium combined layout optimal design.The simulation is focus on above three aspect. Through simulation draw the corresponding evaluation and conduce design technique, at last, by analysis somecases to prove them.In this paper, author uses the positive significance of high-rise building as astarting point, takes the high-rise building exist the main form design problem asthe key, through the scientific method of computer simulation to research high-risebuilding form design then Summarize several effective ideas. In order to provideuseful reference for high-rise building form design in cold region.
