In order to enhance economy, the power generating equipment (PGE) needsto have the above functions without additional voltage stabilizer. This point is alsorequested for the electromagnetic contactor used in PGE.Broad rated control supply voltage is an effective solution to ensure the reliablerunning of electromagnetic under the harsh condition of unstable electricity grid andfluctuating control source. The contactors with broad rated control supply voltagerefered in this thesis have the function of LVRT and resistance to voltage sagsrequested by the PGE in new energy industry.This thesis puts forward double coil direct current electromagnetic system torealize the functions requested by the contactor with100~250V AC50-60Hz/DCrated control supply voltage based on regular electromagnetic contactor. Moreover,this thesis learns and absorbs some previous experience and methods about the coilparameter calculation of electromagnetic system and sums up a well-designed set ofcalculation formula about double coil DC electromagnetic system coil parameterthrough derivation and demonstration. The data obtained from experimental coiltesting is substituted into this formula to compute target coil parameters andmeanwhile revise and verify these parameters. Through the establishment of theelectromagnetic system model and its finite element analysis, the rationality ofelectromagnetic system’s Pick-up feature will be tested with target coil parametersand then calculate the corrected value of electromagnetic system’s regular air gap.At the end of this thesis, under the condition of AC50Hz a testing description ofcontactor sample which is not only made as the target coil parameters and regular airgap corrected value are given but also the testing circuit and methods are proved.
