With the continuous development of scientific technology and industrial automation technology,the AC contactor has gradually tend to be power saving,intelligent,long service life and high reliability.The AC contactor is a very important electrical product in the field of industrial automation,so its reliability and life will impact the system of industrial automation.The breaking force of traditional AC contractor is driven by the spring force.For high velocity of moving iron core,it is needed to strength stiffness of the spring.But it would have big impact on the closing process.To solve the problem,the electromagnetic force is introduced into as breaking force for new type of intelligent AC contactor in the first time in this paper.New contactor's moving iron can move fast,and it is helpful to coming true the rapid micro-arc energy breaking of contactor.In this paper,a new type of AC contactor is designed and its control center is microcontroller.On the one hand,the remanence principle of contactor was completed by the new iron core making from semi-hard magnetic alloy.On the other hand,the rapid breaking of contactor was realized by using two coils in structure of contactor.The basic structure,function and feature of double-coils intelligent AC contactor were specified in this article,and the hardware and software design about contactor were specified,too.According to the differential of electromagnetic circuit and mechanism,a dynamic simulation system is built.Firstly,the 3D model of above mentioned contactor is built by software of Pro/Engineer.Secondly,the 3D image of magnetic field distribution is plotted and the two-dimension datasheet which are value of the electromagnetic force and flux linkage with different currents and displacements are acquired with the software ANSYS used.Lastly,the dynamic of double-coils intelligent AC contactor is simulated.According to the result of simulation,it shows that double coil design of electromagnetic mechanism of intelligent AC contactor is correct.According to a self-made high-speed camera-based intelligent AC contactor dynamic testing device,the dynamic of double-coils intelligent AC contactor is tested.Comparing the result of simulation and test,the precision of simulation system is verified.Depending on improve parameters' theory and software of ADAMS,the parameters of double-coils intelligent AC contactor are improved.As far as the simulated result,the time to move and touch is one of the most important factors in the dynamic characteristics.
