Study On Typical Disease Causes And Maintenance Technology Of Highway Asphalt Pavement In Shaanxi Province

With the rapid development of Chinese national economy and increase of traffic volume, the vehicles are becoming bigger and heavier,especially the over-loading and over-limite traffic being more serious.In addition,the trunk highway asphalt pavements suffer from various diseases,with the pavement performance and life-span descreased,which seriously hinders the normal highway operation.This paper conducted investigation on the trunk highway asphalt pavement deseases in different areas in Shaanxi province,summarized on the typical damage type of present arterial highway,analyzed the causes and influencing factors of the deseases from the designing,constructing and material aspects,and then suggested some preventive measures on trunk highway asphalt deseases.In combination with the investigation on the characters of typical deseases and the performance evaluation outcome,this paper brought forward some reasonable and effective treatment methods and maintainance measures.Finally,as to the micro-surfacing technique,the micro-surfacing mix designing and the performance study were conducted in this paper,in order to provide technical support for micro-surfacing technique's application in the asphalt pavement typical deseases treatment.
