ITER is the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor for short,is major international co-operation program in the scientific community to solve the future energy problems of mankind. When ITER device is using. It is not only subject to static loads as to heat stress, and pressure, but also threatened by random earthquake loads. ITER requires that the feeder system must consider the impact of the earthquake loads. Because seismic vibrations will affect the structure of the feeder system components. Thus the relative position accuracy of structure standstill is lost, eventually leading to overload. Consequence, the light will affect the work performance of the feeder system, it will cause severe damage to the structure. Therefore, in the structural design of the feeder system, seismic safety analysis must be taken.Currently static method, response spectrum method and time history analysis is the main method of seismic response analysis. Static method does not consider structure's dynamic characteristics, but see it as rigid. Its accuracy analysis has limitations; Response spectrum method for its mature theory, a simple calculation, rich experience, is now being recommended for multi-national seismic codes; Time history analysis method is a more accurate in three ways, but considering the time and computer conditions, generally used in the particular special equipment. Therefore, this paper is now widely used in seismic design response spectrum method to analyze the structural safety of feeder system for ITER PF4.In this paper,the venues input design acceleration response spectrum based on ITER design anthology" Global Tokamak Seismic Analysis Report 33W3P4 v21" is selected. ITER PF4 feeder system is an example, using the finite element software ANSYS to build three-dimensional finite element model of the structure which were carried out gravity and spectral analysis of the three directions?horizontal and vertical?. As a comparative analysis, the spectrum of Hefei is designed. EL CENTRO wave is selected. Its acceleration spectrum curves are obtained. As its input conditions, Seismic static method, comparative analysis of the response spectrum method, time history method is carried out. When the structure of the fundamental frequency is higher, which is similar to the rigid body, the error of using static analysis method is not big; When the structure of the fundamental frequency is low, the impact of structural dynamics is significant. The error of static method is large. It is unable to use. The response spectrum method is used.
