Innovation city’s spatial structure optimization refers to the means of production as the core of innovation space in city, through the construction of network of urban innovation space in the city to carry out the innovation drive strategy domain, in order to achieve the purpose of constructing innovative city.In this paper, optimizing the spatial structure of Suzhou innovative city as a case, this paper construct a ideal model of urban innovation space, including the main points of this model:the innovation circle and layout, dynamic mechanism, operation mechanism and production path; then the ideal model of urban innovation space in deconstruction, precipitating of four kinds of more practical type urban innovation space, as the basis of constructing the network of urban innovation space; these four types of urban innovation space including:high-end service industry cluster, high-tech industrial cluster, innovation of culture industry cluster and traditional innovation industry cluster.Building a network of city innovation space should be the overall development strategy and innovative city photograph echo, so as to promote the city renewal, supporting metro construction, promote production city fusion.The paper puts forward five suggestions to optimize the spatial structure of Suzhou:1) optimization and dislocation innovation space city four complementary collaborative development; 2) driving Central Intelligence district and the central business district to "double; 3) industrial community" concept upgrade "three concentration"; 4) to develop city innovation space service standards, to create a service brand; 5) network innovation clusters of Local Embeddedness and global vision of innovation resources integration.
