The urgency of energy is a serious problem for human survival and development.The mainly energies human using today include solar energy,chemical energy,hydroenergy,wind power,nuclear power and so on.As a kind of clear energy,nuclear power has great significance in sustainable development for human society.The resource of nuclear fission and nucleosynthesis,such as Uranium,Thorium,Lithium,can provide human with all energy costs of hundred billion years.So nuclear power can totally solve the shortage of energy for human society.At the same time,the broad application prospects of nuclear power brings another problem for human which is nuclear pollution.As the development of technology in nuclear power,the research in security of nuclear facilities becomes more and more deeply.As a key facility of nuclear power which isolates reactor and the outside,the research of containment vessel has great significance in nuclear leakage control.This paper concisely introduces the 3rd generation nuclear power technology of AP1000,and analyzes the metal containment vessel which base on the conception of passive safety system.It mainly study design load,working load,piping accident load and experiment load,according to AMSE nuclear power standard of ? volume nuclear facilities parts construct regulation NE fascicule,assembled different loads including design condition,normal condition,exceptional condition,accident condition.Those can provide some results and methods for the following research of the metal containment vessel.According to AMSE nuclear power standard,we affirmed the stress intensity limitation of metal containment vessel under different conditions which had mentioned as above,it also provide preparatory work for follow-up analyze and finally evaluate.It had analyzed the metal containment vessel under design condition by 2D mode,evaluated a majority part of metal containment vessel thickness,finished initial design.Moreover,this paper simulated the effect of metal containment vessel when a kind of business air-craft hit the shield factory,and estimated the possibility of metal containment vessel could be damage and then cause nuclear leak when this overdesign condition happens.
