| Along with the economic development and people’s lifestyle changes, the diversified commercial complex now better conforms to the requirements of the time and satisfies consumers’demand of one-stop shopping. While streamline serves as the framework of commercial complex design, the consumption streamline also plays a most important role when designing the streamline of commercial complex. Based on related research on both domestic and foreign commercial complex, this thesis finds that the majority of the research is done from the perspective of either consumer behavior or commercial benefits but few from the combination of the two. Through using the method of literature investigation, the thesis reaches some theories on commercial complex, inner consumption streamline, consumer behavior and vendors and concludes two critical factors influencing inner consumption streamline:consumer behavior and vendors. So this thesis, through a case study of Hefei Baohe Wanda Plaza, makes analysis from the perspectives of consumer behavior and vendors. It first observes the consumer movement lines as well as consumer behavior and concludes their effects on consumption streamline and then lists three streamlines with different active levels according to the streamline. Vendors with different floor sizes and widths are categorized as S1, S2 and S3 and observations are made on the consumer volume and patronage rates of representative vendors with similar sizes and widths, combined with the effects of consumer behavior and vendors. According to the case study, the thesis reaches the solutions of optimizing consumer streamline with problems such as commercial layout, consumption streamline form, population flow introducing and humanization design in order to increase the efficiency of consumption streamline and help consumers and vendors to reach mutual benefits. |
