In the background of globalization, the rapid development of economy and society and the rapid change of city construction, the homogeneity of city space and building tend to occur, and the development of cities are sometimes in a difficult position of homogenization. To preserve the local feature and traditional characteristics has become the urgent need in the course of urban sustainable development.After analyzing and exploring the city homogeneity issue which has aroused widely thinking, in this thesis the author tries to come up with a reasonable method to evaluate the urban landscape features, and put forward a proposition to set up a evaluation system for it. By the summary and profound consideration of the relevant study, the author tries to set up such a evaluation system which is reasonable and to the point step by step, in order to provide an evaluation system which is exemplary and has reference meaning to the subsequent studies in the region as well as around the whole country, to make up the deficiency which is relevant to the evaluation of urban landscape features as well as the insufficient in the study of it. In this way, the author tries to make the theories about city features and the evaluation system of it more perfected. Through the evaluation system of urban landscape features, we also hope to achieve the aim of assessing the achievement of the city construction, supervising the government job, promoting city construction job, and pushing forward the healthy and orderly development of the city.The uses of evaluation system in a certain area and even around the whole nation give us more clear cognition about the present situation of urban landscape, and show the direction for later research and urban development and construction. To change the trend of homogeneity, we need to highlight the characteristics of the city, and take assessing as guidance; we can start from mining and shaping urban landscape features, show a unique charm of the city, create a good city image, and improve the city's comprehensive competitive power. Finally the goal to fully display its own style characteristics and satisfy the urban planning and construction development could be achieved.
