The Evaluation Study Of Urban Landscape Based On The SITES Rating System

Sustainable landscape has become one of the hot issues in the current international landscape architecture industry,an increasing number of landscape design projects using the words"sustainable","ecology"and"green"as projects'mind identities and differences.However,since the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China proposed the guidance of conservation-oriented gardens construction in2006 to promote the the sustainable development of urban landscapes,there has been a lack of standard to evaluate the conservation-oriented gardens from design,construction,operation,maintenance and other aspects.The lack of this standard causes the misunderstanding of“save”and the phenomenon of slogans in the operation of the landscape projects.This topic of the article is under the background that above-mentioned,using sustainable site rating system for developing sustainable landscapes offered by The Sustainable Sites Initiative^TM?SITES?as theoretical basis,through the study of relevant theories of sustainable landscape and practical projects,explore the meaning of urban sustainable landscape,give the definition of the urban sustainable landscape;how to scientific evaluate the urban sustainable landscape,introduce and analyze the SITES v2rating system?2014 ver.?,including the theoretical basis,guiding principles,goals,evaluation content,scoring standards,the comparison analysis of the first edition in 2009and the second edition in 2014,and the elaboration of the certificated cases by SITES;discussing the interrelationship and necessity between urban sustainable landscape and urban sustainable development,and chooses Shanghai as the research city,uses SITES v2to evaluate the relevant and typical projects in Shanghai,finding advantages and disadvantages of the current urban landscape projects in Shanghai,and analyzes the causes of these phenomena,and propose some suggestions for the future sustainable urban landscape projects in the future.In addition,the article puts forward the establishment of Shanghai sustainable landscape project online inquiry platform,and makes a prospect on the deep research of sustainable urban landscape.
