As an indispensable transportation,the ship’s safety operation has an important influence on the transport.It’s control and management system directly determines the safety of itself.The engine room monitoring is an important part of the ship control system,that is an important medium of exchangeing imformation between captain and the ship carrying equipment,it is the way that the captain take information,make decisions and monitor the system. With the rapid development of ship,the traditional monitoring system has been unable to meet the future demand for shipping.So the design of a real-time data and user-friendly man-machine interface monitoring provide effective informations for guiding the sudden failure of the shipping process.Engine room monitoring is a typical embedded system,the embedded system has the advantages of powerful,hardware and software can be reduced,low power consumption.In this thesis,designing the monitoring from two aspects of hardware platform and software platform.The selected main control board is designed based on AT91SAM9263.Reducing the embedded Linux operating system based on the function demands of engine room monitoring.Configuring the cross compiler,the yaffs2 root file system,bootloader program.Using Qt graphical development to complete the design of GUI layout.The mechanism of signals and slots help to realize the complex logic relationship of the interface.The embedded database SQLite record the operation data of the system,such as equipment parameters and failure data. This thesis also introduces the Linux driven development process and the principle of the LCD displayer,touch screen,keyboard and other peripheral equioments.Focusing on the IIC keyboard,UART serial port,LCD frame buffer and the touch screen.The front-end data acquisition of the system collect the parameters of the equipments,exchange data with the main control board by the RS-232 serial port. Realizing the real time display of operation parameters,such as main equipment,auxiliary equipment and other related equipments.Processing monitoring data and giving corresponding alarm information.At the end of this thesis,tested the design of the ship engine room monitoring system,for verifing the design function by using the test application to call driver program.The results of the test is used to verify the exist problems of the system, and puts forward the solution and improving methods for the problems in the design.The system achieved the desired requirements after test run and stable operation.
