| It will have a direct threat to aviation safety if once making workplace behaviors deviation because of the special nature of maintenance. The high job stress for aircraft maintenance personnel results from poor maintenance environment and the higher degree of complexity work. Due to the poor grooming of job stress, it can easily lead to individual low work motivation, the loss of work ability and other symptoms. If these reactions not be effectively alleviated, it will directly bring about individual reduce of job performance maintenance and maintenance behavior deviations, which is a direct threat to aviation safety, causing irreparable economic loss, as well as personal safety hazards. Expert investigation method was applied to analyze the sources of job stress. The influence of job stress on workplace behavior deviations and self-regulation ability as a mediator variable between the two factors for aircraft maintenance personnel is determined by means of the sample survey questionnaire and statistical analysis. This thesis aims to reduce the aircraft maintenance personnel’s job stress and enhance the individual self-regulation ability, which can not only reduce the appearance of workplace behavior deviations, but also protect the personal and property safety of civil aviation passengers. This thesis collected data through the questionnaire, and applied SPSS 19 and Amos17 to statistics and analysis. Based on that, structural equation model was built to validate hypotheses; the main conclusion of this thesis can be included as follows:Firstly, the job stress of aircraft maintenance personnel in descending order as follow: workload stress, organizations manage stress, interpersonal stress, role conflict stress and career development stress. The score of aircraft maintenance personnel’s behavior regulatory ability is the highest, followed by emotional regulatory ability and cognitive regulatory ability is relatively low. The aircraft maintenance personnel have a higher frequency of organizational behavior deviations, interpersonal behavior deviations followed.Secondly, there are significant differences in aspects of age, work experience and education level, while no significant difference exist in gender, job and marital status for the aircraft maintenance personnel.Thirdly, it confirms that the job stress and self-regulation ability are important factors to influence the workplace behavior deviations. There is significant positive correlation between job stress and workplace behavior deviations. There is significant negative correlation between self-regulation ability and workplace behavior deviations. There is significant negative correlation between job stress and self-regulation ability. Finally, the self-regulation ability is a mediator variable between job stress and workplace behavior deviations. Job stress can influence directly the workplace behavior deviations; it can also influence indirectly the workplace behavior deviations through influencing self-regulation ability. The innovation of this thesis is proposing the relational model of job stress, self-regulation ability and workplace behavior deviations for aircraft maintenance personnel, it also put up with a new idea to reduce the workplace behavior deviations by rational use of the mediating variable of self-regulation ability. |
