Distribution network connects to the power load directly. Its construction is an important content of national economic development. Connection mode of distribution network is not only related to the economy and the reliability of power grid operation, but more related to the improve of material and cultural living standards of people. Connection modes have a far-reaching impact on the development of the power industry and users.Distribution network in China is huge and contains a variety of connection modes. At present, the reasonable choice of distribution network connection modes did not receive due attention, causing the fuzzy connection of distribution network. Standardization is conducive to solve a series of problems existing in the actual operation and management of the grid, ensuring safe, reliable and economic operation of distribution network.This paper reviews the domestic and foreign typical connection modes firstly and sums up the experience of the development of distribution network. Then, introduces the construction of comprehensive technical and economic evaluation for power distribution network connection modes. From the view of economy, reliability, safety and adaptability,this paper proposes the evaluation index and calculation method of distribution network connection modes.On this basis, this paper analyses the influence factors of distribution network connection modes. Considering the power supply area type, power supply architecture model, load density and substation capacity, this paper establishes calculation model of distribution network connection modes. They are Uniform Distribution and Strip Distribution. The planning scenario of distribution network connection mode were developed according to the A+(A),B,C,D power supply area division. And then, the technical economical index of the 110 kV and 10 kV distribution network connection modes are calculated. Based on the results of calculation, the recommended scheme are put forward.Finally, aiming at the typical distribution network in one urban area and one rural power network, this paper puts forward the planning scheme of distribution network. And using the method in this paper to analysis technical economy, providing the reference for different regional choice of the distribution network.
