In recent years, the vigorous development of exhibition industry has given rise to a mechanical revolving screen as a typical representative of the birth of new dynamic display system. Mechanical revolving screen is a new dynamic display system of quintessence, which comprise multi-screen technology. This system combines N*N multilayer rotational movement display units. This display system gives full play to the advantages of the traditional mode to exhibit, and make up for its poor flexibility, insufficient display modes such as single.There is a low-jitter phenomena in actual operation of the mechanical revolving screen, so in order to develop more reasonable structure, stable performance, more practical application value and market competitiveness of new dynamic display system as well as related products, based on the mechanical revolving screen as the research object in this paper, virtual prototype technology is proposed for mechanical revolving screen of dynamic simulation. Firstly, established the system of the virtual prototype model of rigid body, based on the analysis of the system's speed, acceleration and contact force dynamics, and the simulation test results and the theoretical data are compared, the simulation experiment results accord with theoretical data, verify the validity of the model.In the mechanical system, the flexible body and bolt joint surface will be an important influence on the dynamic performance of whole system. Think of the system as a rigid system to process and doesn't consider the effect of elastic deformation will cause gross errors. Worm and elbow as a flexible body, established the MNF files which contain modal information, and considering the influence of important bolt joint surface. According to fixation combined with the 12 spring- damping model and the related test data, based on ADAMS, establishing 12 spring bolt joint surface – damping equivalent model. And on the virtual prototype model of system of rigid body established virtual prototype model of the coupled once again. Finally, put forward the bolt joint surface and bend the structure optimization of improvement measures after the simulation and analysis of forced vibration in this coupled system. The simulation test results show that after structure optimization the frequency domain response of the system is improved, verify the feasibility of the optimization. Using virtual prototype technology of mechanical revolving screen dynamic characteristics analysis and structure optimization design method of improvement is an effective, the transformation of the theoretical research to practical application has important guiding significance for practical engineering applications.
