China's marine resources are very abundant. But there has a big gap compared with developed countries of ROV technology. In order to improve the research ability of ROV, we need to train more ROV technicians. Therefore, the Paper will design a Teaching ROV. According to the special requirements of the Teaching ROV, such as Portability, Carrying Capacity, Openness, Reliability, Economy etc, researched the structure and control system of the Teaching ROV. And completed the Underwater Test.The main content of the Paper is summarized as follwing:In Chapter 1, mainly introduced the development history and the research status of ROV, explained the significance and content of this Paper, and put forward the design index of the Teaching ROV.In Chapter 2, in view of the Teaching ROV's portability, refer to the design of the Applied ROV, researched the Teaching ROV from three aspects of the structure, the thruster layout scheme, control system.In Chapter 3, in view of the Teaching ROV's carrying capacity. First, by the analysis of the running resistance, thrust and thrust performance test, completed the research of the ROV's thruster.
