In timber-concrete composite (TCC) wall, the span of a TCC wall is increased by a combination of a timber joist with a concrete topping. The overall structural performance of TCC systems, as well as_strength, stiffness, location and number of connectors play a crucial role in the composite action and determine the structural and serviceability performance of TCC solutions. This article evaluates experimental tests, finite element and numerical models. Models can be combined with experimental results to obtain additional information about certain parameters such as connections, configurations, and geometrical and material properties.Composite wall element consists of timber studs connected to a concrete plate with screw shear connectors. Experimental results are presented and compared with an analytical model for partial composite action.Analytical and experimental results were in good agreement. In conclusion, this article suggests different possibilities for improving the design of timber-concrete composite. Timber-concrete composite structures are combination of wood with concrete that consist of a concrete slab mechanically connected by connection members to wooden beams. The main objective of this thesis is to explore the Structural reinforced concrete walls represents a system that provides lateral resistance, high stiffness and strength to a building. Because only the base of the structural walls makes the energy dissipation, they do not exhibit ductile and redundant behavior. This type of structural wall is compared to an ordinary solid wall. The proposed solutions for increasing ductility are viable and easily to use in constructions practice. For the analysis of the proposed structural wall was used the finite element method; in this way is simulated accurate and realistic the behavior of the reinforced concrete walls. The TCC wall is stimulated and analyzed by the finite element software ANSYS.This software is used for modeling ANSYS14.5, concrete using Solid65 unit timber unit using Solid 185 steel using She11181 unit cell size is 10, and the interface with the steel timber in wood and concrete the interface between the slip and slip respectively use on wood and steel and concrete bonding element simulation of wood between. Load using load-third point, in order to coincide with the actual situation, to convert the concentrated load uniform load is applied to the surface of the composite beam.
