With the development of social civilization,and the emergence of new material,new structure and new technology,the function and structure of large span steel structure building become more and more complicated.It puts forward a huge challenge for traditional steel structure construction technology,and need to consider more factor when making up the construction scheme.However,informatization is the trend of construction industry development,BIM technology can provide solution for the complex construction process.Suitable and perfect construction scheme can improve the efficiency of construction,shorten the construction period,reduce the cost,ensure construction safety,guarantee the quality of construction.How to install large steel structure with fast,safe and efficient,effectively reduce the cost at the same time,and improve the safety life of the structure.It is a problem for the steel structure construction technology,and must be solved.Adopting advanced BIM technology,It can simulate and analyse the construction scheme,Eventually improve the management level and comprehensive benefits of construction stage.This research relies on the gymnasium of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture,With its steel structure engineering as research object,in view of the steel structure construction,this paper studys the large-span steel structure construction technology,explores the BIM technology application in the field of construction,This article main research content is as follows:(1)Through the study of a large number of literature,review the development process of the large span buildings,large-span steel structure system and the present situation of the application of its installation technology are summarized.Then comb the BIM technology at the core ideas,research situation and application.Briefly describe the development,definition and characteristics of large span reticulated shell steel structure.Mainly introduce two common construction method:the method of high altitude installation in segmentation and integral lifting method.(2)Combining with the actual situation of project,two kinds construction scheme of steel structure engineering has been established:local lifting and segmental hoisting,segmentation lifting and high altitude splicing.Compare these two schemes with duration,quality,safety and cost,then arrive the best solution after analysis.Create the BIM construction model in Revit platform,and statistic quantities,display construction conditions.Then make construction simulation in Navisworks platform,and explored the virtual construction scheme based on BIM application in the engineering construction field.The result shows that through the analysis of theory and practical engineering application,local lifting and segmental hoisting construction method is the most suitable for the engineering construction scheme.The BIM construction model can accurately statistic engineering quantity.Intuition and visualization of the 4D construction simulation can reflect the problems in the construction scheme,and finally guide the project construction.
