The ship resistance is a very important parameter,which can directly affect the performance of the ship.In order to study the resistance of the ship,the paper focuses on S-175 as a research object from The Lab of Key Harbour Mechanized Equipment Technology in Hangzhou Dianzi University.The paper utilizes theoretical analysis,numerical analysis and test methods to combine them with each other to do more systematic study,which figure out the relations between the resistance and the Froude number as well as the study on the similar rule of the resistance.I have set up a program containing the ship film,numerical models and ship film flow field resistance;I built a comprehensive test platform for a ship membrane,and have did some related model tests.Finally,I compared with the theoretical value and the numerical value measurements,verifying the accuracy of the model.The following are the concrete parts:In the first Chapter,the research background and significance of this topic are described,and the development progress and research progress of ship resistance theory calculation are systematically summed up.Moreover the development trend and the resistance prediction method of CFD in the domestic and foreign ships are introduced in detail.Furthermore popular commercial CFD software is introduced.At the same time the main research content of this paper is summarized.In the second chapter,the basic concepts,classification and resistance similarity law of ship resistance are introduced.The change rule of KCS is collected,and the total resistance of ship model is obtained by analyzing the data of vertical circulation.The ship model resistance test was carried out in the vertical circulating water tank,and the total resistance of ship hull at different speeds was obtained.Summarize and analyze the data to deduce the formula of calculating the resistance of the ship model.The experimental method and the points of attention are given to ensure the reliability of test data.In the third chapter,the paper introduces the generation of 3D model by using Solidworks,and introduces the types and the requirements of the basic unit grid.The main software Gridgen generated by the S-175 is introduced.In the fourth chapter,considering the computation time and the accuracy of the results,we divide the mesh of the viscous flow field of S-175.The quality of the mesh generated by this paper is checked by the test function of Gridgen.Also the grid has been detected by using the postprocessing module of CFX.In the fifth chapter,based on the CFD method,the numerical simulation of the viscous flow field around the S-175 standard model is carried out,and the resistance values at different speeds are obtained.Then this paper will have a comparative analysis of the results of numerical simulation and experimental method of the resistance value.VOF method is used to track and capture the flow details of the free liquid surface.The CFX is used to detect and analyze the y of the ship surface,and a series of flow images of the FIELDVIEW is used to analyze and compare the flow field.In the sixth chapter,This paper will introduce the main contents of this paper and points out the shortcomings.
