| Wave spring is non-standard elastic element, which is made up of a number of peaks and troughs on the basis of a certain regular arrangement. The characteristic of wave spring is large range of stiffness, shockes absorbing ability and compact structure etc, which leads to replacement of the traditional spring in various fields.Working ability of wave spring is determined by t mechanics properties which is relationship between elastic deformation and external load of spring under stress.This article obtains the influence degree of structure parameters through analyzing and calculating stiffness of wave spring. On the basis of further understanding for mechanical properties, achieve rational utilization of wave spring.The research objects includes the linear wave spring and wave spring with circular cross section. According to theoretical formula deduction and calculation and the finite element analysis and the testing, analyzing and researching the mechanical properties of wave spring.According to the structure feature of wave spring and mechanical deformation theory, deduces the stiffness formula; use mathematical method to deduce the expression of two kinds of wave spring and accomplish parameterized modeling of 3D by UG. Through ANSYS Workbench software, complete the load- deformation process simulation and draw the stiffness curve.Regards the structure parameters as variables to research the relationship between structure parameters and stiffness. The results are: the stiffness of linear wave spring has a positive correlation power function with the wave number and thickness; the stiffness of linear wave spring has a negative correlation power function with the length; the stiffness of linear wave spring has a linear positive correlation with width. The stiffness of wave spring which is with circular cross section has a positive correlation power function with wave number and wire number, but pitch diameter has the opposite relationship. Based on the comparison, finite element analysis is an effective method for research for wave spring. For wave spring with circular cross section, error from stiffness calculation formula decreases with the increase of wave number and correction could improve the accuracy. Formula calculation precision is higher for linear wave spring, but theoretical calculation is limited to linear deformation range.According to modal analysis and harmonic response analysis, obtains the inherent frequency and vibration mode of wave spring. Space vibration forms are different degree warp from different directions. Resonance direction is the normal direction of mounting surface. |
