The engine performance test system is a set of industrial control system,which is a complete inspection of the engine performance after the technology improvement and upgrading.This system works by simulating the working condition of the engine in actual operation,and evaluating the overall performance of the engine according to the test data.The control algorithm is traditional PID,the main control chip is MCU and the data transmission mode is RS232 in the existing engine performance detection system.As a result,the accuracy,efficiency and practicability of the whole system can be improved greatly.With the popularization of computer network,the network measurement and control system can be applied in the industrial control field.This system can be used to isolate the test personnel from the complex and harsh environment while achieving remote test,which is important for improving the automated testing level of the performance testing system of engine,saving the cost and improving the safety of the test environment.To achieve this target,this paper studies and designs an engine performance testing system which is used the fuzzy PID control algorithm and a high performance ARM architecture microprocessor.According to this,the system can achieve remote PC web monitoring.Firstly,this paper expounds the important position of the engine in the auto industry,then illustrates the study background and significance of testing the engine performance,briefly introduces engine performance testing technology and its development according to the domestic and foreign research institutions,on this basis,the main contents of the work of this paper are briefly introduced.Secondly,this paper analyzes the main components of the engine performance test system and the working principle of the important device,designs the hardware and software structure of the whole performance detection system,and simply describes the test items and test programs.This paper designs the fuzzy PID controller according to analyzing the traditional PID control and fuzzy control principle and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the relevant intelligence algorithm.At the same time,the simulation is carried out by Matlab/Simulink module.Thirdly,this paper designs the hardware circuit of the engine performancedetection system,including the main control chip peripheral circuit,other main parameters(temperature and pressure)of the signal acquisition and processing circuit and peripheral equipment(Electric Whirling Flow Power Measurement Machine and throttle actuator)drive circuit,which providing hardware support of the whole performance detection system.Lastly,the paper designs the software of the engine performance test system based on the high performance ARM chip,including the software design of the lower computer and the upper computer.The former one includes transplanting the WINCE operating system,writing the driver module,developing application program;the later one includes achieving the ActiveX control and designing the remote PC monitoring system.
