Asphalt pavement recycling technology uses old asphalt mixture milled from pavement as raw material,it can make the performance of old asphalt mixture to be resumed and meet the use requirements.Conventional asphalt rejuvenation agents usually contain a large amount of mineral oil,but there are still many shortcomings in the use of mineral oil as asphalt recycling agent.On the other hand,our country's " swill-cooked dirty oil " back into the table have occurred.It will affect physical and mental health after people eat this kind of oil,but there is still a lack of perfect management mechanism for the problem of " swill-cooked dirty oil ".Western countries have begun the research of vegetable oil rejuvenated technology.But These research are just on the road performance of asphalt mixture.It still need a systematic study on how the vegetable oil to achieve the recovery of the performance of the asphalt.Based on the above situation,this article selected three kinds of common simulated vegetable oils after cooking,soybean oil,corn oil,sunflower oil,to be asphalt rejuvenation agent,compared and selected the regenerative agent in microscopic and macroscopic angle.The aging process of asphalt was studied by four component analysis method.Through infrared spectrum analysis technology,the asphalt aging index at the micro level is proposed.According to the change of physical property of asphalt,the aging degree of asphalt is defined.Regeneration of asphalt with different aging degree was carried out.The regeneration process of asphalt was studied by four component analysis method.The effect of different groups in vegetable oil on the regeneration of asphalt was analyzed by infrared spectrum analysis technique.The physical performance of traditional mineral oil regenerated asphalt and vegetable oil regenerated asphalt were also tested.The optimal proportion of plant oil regeneration agent was obtained.The development principle of vegetable oil recycling agent was proposed.This article adopted two old materials mixing rate to regenerate two kinds of aging asphalt mixture by traditional mineral oil and vegetable oil,test their performance and comparative analysis of their regeneration effect to verify the feasibility of plant oil regeneration technology from the angle of asphalt mixture.After systematic research,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)As rejuvenation agent,there is no difference of the chemical structure,physical properties and regeneration effect between soybean oil,corn oil,sunflower oil after cooking.So soybean oil is selected as the vegetable oil regeneration in this article.(2)In the aging process of asphalt,the content of the S=O functional group was increased in the functional group structure.The content of asphaltene and resin was increased,and the content of aromatic and saturated was decreased.The high temperature and low temperature performance of the asphalt also occurred.(3)A new index to define the aging degree of asphalt is proposed,the asphalt aging index.It is mild aging when the asphalt aging index is between 1 and 1.6,moderate aging when the asphalt aging index is between 1.6 and 2.5,severe aging when the asphalt aging index is greater than 2.5.(4)Vegetable oil regeneration agent can recover and even improve the physical properties of asphalt and can also complete the recovery of asphalt mixture performance.It is proved that the vegetable oil regeneration is feasible in technology.However,the vegetable oil regeneration agent did not fully realize the recovery of asphalt on the structural level of the components and functional groups.(5)When the asphalt or asphalt mixture is regenerated,the amount of vegetable oil regeneration agent is in the range of 2%~6%.It is far below the amount of traditional mineral oil regeneration agent.Taking into account the extensive source and low cost of cooking vegetable oil,vegetable oil regeneration technology will bring huge social and economic benefits and the value of application and popularization.
