Distribution network is the important part of power system, and city distribution network is greatly related to country economy and people' life。 The goal of planning distribution network is to make power system operation reliable and economical. On the one hand, the city distribution network planning is the important part of the whole planning of the city; on the other hand, it is the basis of building and reforming city distribution network. Its major contents : analysis of the present status in quo, load forecasting, optimizing substation, substation and network planning, reactive power install, reliability analysis in normal and emergency, short current analysis, evaluation of investment and analysis of revenue. In recent year, with the rapid development and application of computer technology and GIS, in addition, the deep study of artificial intelligence methods , a good opportunity has been provided for the study of distribution network planning, which makes distribution network planning go into a new stage. First, use space data and attribute data needed by GIS planning and show the power network to the researchers directly, which makes the communication possible; Second, use the functions of space analysis, resource distribution and the fine path choice, which reduces the search space when optimize procedures during planning distribution network. The researchers can avoid the ill-fitted places, such as hilly country and rivers, and choose the site of transformer substation and the route expediently, which makes the programming results practicality. The author mainly studies the calculation method of spatial load forecasting, based on the analysis of all sort of methods of load forecasting, which is the base of distribution network planning. Only when the future load of every parts of the distribution network is ascertained, could we plan the location and the capacitance of substation , as well as the paths and the size of the circuitry ;the equipment of switch and the length of the time needed, etc. The author studies the methods of space and load and discusses optimizing of distribution network frame. On the GIS flat roof,...
