| The development of Historic district suffered from impediments as the process of urban renewal movement going on,with its organic self-renewal system have already been ineffective caused by excessive interference of external factors. In the past, protections and renovations toward historical districts focused on the single building and isolated street space. On the basis of traditional research, this thesis introduced “Space Syntax”which is combined with the mathematical model analysis to conduct a quantitative analysis on spatial forms of living communities of Changchun FAW Historic District. It is also included to study the internal connection of these spatial structures as well as set up some basic knowledge of district space form,so as to develop protections and renovations for the street scenes and single buildings. The whole thesis can be divided into three parts. The first part described the purpose, background, main contents, writing frame and main research methods of this thesis, while the comparative study of selected protection cases on historic district at home and abroad are also included. The second part emphasized on the practice of “Space Syntax”.The spatial form of living communities of Changchun FAW Historic District were analyzed from the overall level and single node space these two aspects. With the help of software “UCL depthmap”,the thesis have established and analyzed the Mathematical model to calculate data corresponding to integration, average depth and controlling value, aiming to explore the change regulation of district spatial form and predict the future development as well as provide the theoretical support for the district’s protection and renovation. The third part introduced some specific strategies of protection and renovationfor districts. It was informed that the current situation through investigation to district scenes and the classified study on problems existed in these districts.Due to the problems related strategies of protection and renovation were put forward to provide theoretical guidance for the healthy development of living communities of Changchun FAW Historic District. Finally, the thesis was summarized and expressed the deficiencies of this study. |
