Study On The Factors Of Community Participation In The Renovation Of Beijing Historic District

Along with the city to speed up the process of urban ambition,city historic district’s human settlements is facing the item of renewal and renovation,which has become the major concerned social issues of various countries and regions around the world.Due to the lack of correct understanding of the value of the city’s historic neighborhoods,Beijing has taken the practice of large-scale demolit ion in the past,destroyed the social structure and the origina l community cultural,and caused many historical blocks were hard to repair in the process of renovation.This top-down reform mode also frequent ly encountered from the community resistance and social group’s pressure in the actual case.Therefore,it is particular ly necessary to reflect on the tradit ional transformation defects and explore new models of protection and renewal.In recent years,the idea of communit y participation in urban construction of western countr ies has been gradually introduced into our country,which has an important impact on the development of the theory of historical district renovation.Many cities has used the communit y partic ipation model in the process of the renovation in the historic district,hoping to mobilize residents to partic ipate in remediation,to promote the sustainable renewal of the historic district.However,the communit y partic ipation of historical district renovation in Beijing is sporadic pilot,with has little success,and there is no mature model can be extended.Based on the research of historical renovation and community participation theory,combined with domestic and foreign advanced experience and practice of partic ipatory remediation and participation system,researched area in Beij ing area,The conclusion of the above three studies leads to factors that affect community participation,and test them in different types of Beij ing’s of historical district rectification.Finally,based on the conclus ions of this study and the analys is of the current socia l and economic situation in Beijing,the paper puts forward some suggestions to promote participatory governance.The article is divided into seven parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which describes the background and significance of the topic,defines the ideas and methods of the research,establishes the research framework,and makes a brief summary of the relevant research trends at domestic and abroad.The second chapter is the theory research,it combs the research of domestic and foreign community participation in the historic district,statement community partic ipation’s importance on the living environment of historic rectification,put forward three major factors influenc ing communit y participation from the aspects of theory,which are rational choice,community identity and institutional supply.The third chapter is the case study,combing the domestic and foreign successful experience,and summarizing the influence factors of the participation system.The fourth chapter is the study of the remediation in Beij ing and its community partic ipation type,combined with the investigation and analys is of the living environment of the historic district and the process of the past historical district renovation,to analyze the types of participatory remediation.The fifth chapter summarizes the influencing factors.The factors influencing the communit y participation in the residentia l area environment of historic district are analyzed in detail from the rational choice,the community identity and the system supply.In the empir ical study of the sixth chapter,taking the three community-based historical district remediation pilot as examples,the paper analyzes the influence of the factors put forward in the previous chapter on the communit y’s participation in the rectification.In the seventh chapter,the conclusion and the suggestion are summarized,and the main research results of the paper are summarized,and the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote the community participation in rectification.
