Study On The Comparison Of Chinese And Foreign Bridge Specification Based On The Small Box Girder Standard Drawing

Due to the lack of the oversea application of the small box girder standard drawing in domestic research results which have been published,less research the possibility and applicability of domestic standard drawing into overseas markets.In order to study the applicability of domestic standard drawing into overseas,at first paper starts with the basic rules of bridge design,based on the small box girder standard drawing to contrast the differences of the material,limit state and the coefficient of load combination in Chinese,British and European bridge design specification.Secondly according to the load effects in the standard drawing used,to contrast the differences of different load regulations in Chinese,Britain and Europe bridge design code.Then based on 20 m and30 m standard drawing to study the prestressed bridge design related calculation formula,and building respectively the finite element models according to three codes for calculation and analysis the standard drawing whether meet the British and European specifications,and compared with Chinese results.At last to study the structural requirements of the standard drawing if meet the British and European standards,several conclusions are achieved in finally.1.Based on 30 m small box girder standard drawing to contrast the most unfavorable load combinations effects in the side spans midspan,the midlle spans midspan and fulcrum sections,the British load combination effect are the maximum for the side span on the most-positive bending effect and negative bending effect,the European are the minimum.For the most-positive bending effect in the fulcrum,the British are the maximum,the European are the minimum,the European are the maximum for the most-negative bending effect,the Chinese are the minimum.For the most-positive bending effect in the midlle spans midspan,the British are the maximum,the Chinese are the minimum,the British are the maximum for the most-negative bending effect,the European are the minimum.2.The flexural bearing capacity limit state calculation for the 20 m and 30 m small box girder standard drawings can meet the three specifications requirements,the European safety coefficient is larger,the British safety coefficient is second,the Chinese safety coefficient are the minimum.The shear bearing capacity limit state calculation can be consistent with the specification requirements of Chinese,British and European,the Chinese safety coefficient are larger,the British safety coefficient is second,the European safety coefficient are the minimum.3.The Serviceability limit state calculation for the 20 m and 30 m small box girder standard drawings can meet the pressure requirements of the Chinese,British and European specifications.On the deflection calculation,although three specifications admissible values are different,the small box girder deflection calculation all can meet the standard requirements.The construction requirements to the standard drawing aremainly according with the British and European standards,but the thickness of the protective layer should to be adjusted according to actual situation under some special environment.4.In conclusion,20 m and 30 m small box girder standard drawing can be used under the British and European regulations in overseas markets,the material just need to be replaced by the corresponding materials in British and European specification when the standard drawing to be used.But the thickness of the protective layer should to be adjusted according to actual situation under some special environment,and need to according to the employing country climate make appropriate adjustments to the temperature effect in order to satisfy the appendix of the provisions of the state.
