The demand of measuring Large-scale technical equipment is higher and higher with the development of science and technology. There are many challenges between dimensions?accuracy and efficiency of measurement efficiency, therefore, analyzing distributed large size measuring system has the vital significance. The wMPS(workspace Measuring and Positioning System) is an indoor large-scale positioning system based on the intersection of laser planes, this measure system has the characteristics of high measuring precision ? large measuring space ? parallel measurement capability and good reliability. But the laser signal of transmitter can easily be blocked by obstacle in the measurement site. Inverted transmitter can solve these problems and improve the system's applicability.Themed with the study of network layout optimization and application of inverted transmitter, this dissertation analyzed the measurement error and spatial network of wMPS, and experiments are performed to verify the theory. The main contents and works of this dissertation has accomplished are arranged as follows:1. Proposing significance of constructing large space precision coordinate measuring field and analyzing the characteristics and performance advantages of wMPS, then concrete analysis are performed in the following pages.2. The measuring principle of wMPS is described and structure of inverted transmitter is analyzed. Then the method of internal parameters calibration is gave.3. With respect to the problems of network layout, I analyze the difference between Inverted transmitter and vertical transmitter and point out the Posture optimization of the Inverted transmitter. To get a better layout, we analyzed the measuring equation of the system and pointed out that the condition number of measurement matrix can be a quantitative indicator to planes intersection. The optimum network layout was achieved with the Genetic algorithm which was designed based on the quantitative indicator.4. The deployments of two and four stations were simulated and analyzed according to the proposed mathematical model and experiments are designed to verify it. The experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the measurement precision.5. Important engineering application study. Backgrounded with the applications of Automated Guided Vehicles System, I implement the constructing of precision coordinate measuring field through the rational use of Inverted transmitter and vertical transmitter and optimize the network layout. Accomplishing the automatic precision navigation application.
