| The Buddhism has an important place in social development process with the spirit leading goodness, preaching to all sentient being, giving comfort and enlightenment since its establishment, carrying forward and inheritance. Now it is at a time social system comprehensive perfect and cultural industry in rapid development. The traditional Buddhism has become an indispensable support in social advancement. Therefore, organizations not only renovating and expanding existing Buddhist temples, but also building temples in large to purify the negative factor of social rapid development. Focusing on the present situation of the diversified social economy, a large number of first emerged temples’ function need to step into diversification as well. It is needed to collation and research in the areas of space construction and organization, single building self-style, landscape design and many other areas in order to get a proper construction method making China contemporary temples matched with society development and for the coexist and orderly development of traditional culture and modern city. As the traditional Chinese temples under modern construction, it should not only reflecting the profound of Buddhist thought, but also satisfying innovation and development of modern aesthetic, making traditional Buddhist culture further inheritance and carry forward in the process of this game.This article takes Bao Cheng Temple, Wu Qing district, Tianjin city, China as the research object. Probing how to design and construct tang-style temples from the aspects of group standardization, single design and landscape construction. Getting some basic theories through researching existing tang-style remains and massive amounts of data.Then using theories for constructing and innovating to make sure Tang Dynasty construction style completely appeared. This article will analyze the problems existing in the design process, for example the contradiction between the traditional layout and operational requirement, the contradiction between the architectural style and construction, etc. Finding a balance point between the new design method and the traditional construction using the discovery and the solution of these problems, also hoping that this article would be as a Chinese saying goes: throw a sprat to catch a whale, could be a little helpful to the temples’ future design. |
