Flight Fatigue Of Instructor:Impact Factors And Countermeasures

Flight fatigue affects the ability of pilot instructor to control an aircraft and the flight training, and threats the flight safety. Besides, the cultivation of the pilot is affected and the development of civil aviation career is restricted. So, it is necessary to do the research for flight fatigue of pilot instructor.The research for the flight instructor in every branch courts of CAFUC on the teaching frontline uses the questionnaire method. We distributed 280 questionnaires, and 240 effective questionnaires are recycled. The research analyzed the statistics from the questionnaires by SPSS and concluded three factors concerning the flight fatigue of pilot instructor:trainee pilot, institution, and the pilot instructor-self. The three factors covered 14 questions in total, and got the accounted for 63.323% of the variance. The research tested the three-factor structure by AMOS, and the structure is accurated and reliable. The G1 method was adapted to measure the degree to the flight fatigue that every factor affects:the factor of trainee pilot weighting 0.4248, the factor of institution weighting 0.3540, the factor of pilot instructor-self weighting 0.2212. Also the degree to the fight fatigue that the questions covered by every factor was measured.The research made a further step, measuring the difference of degree of the three factors caused by the difference in location of branch, condition of marriage, and teaching stage of the pilot instructors. The conclusions are:(1)No obvious difference on the factor of the trainee pilot in different branches; the degree to the flight fatigue is higher in Suining branch than that Guanghan and Luoyang on the factor of the institution; the degree to the flight fatigue is higher in Xinjin and Suining branch than that Guanghan and Luoyang on the factor of pilot instructor-self. (2)No obvious difference on the all factors in the condition of marriage. (3)The degree of the middle-class pilot instructors that the factor of trainee pilot is higher than that of the primary and the high-class; no obvious difference on the factor of the pilot instructor-self; the degree of the middle-class pilot instructor is higher than that of the primary and the high-class on the factor of the institution.Then the detailed solutions to the influence factors were put forward and the expectations were stated.
