Concrete frame structure is widely applied in engineering with its characteristics of low cost, strong applicability and good shock resistance.In general, the wall is used to divide the frame space.For the understanding of the filling wall, most people still stay in the past stage, and they think that it only acts as a retaining wall and barrier role in the framework of the structure.Even in the structural design, it is often ignored, and the influence of the filling wall on the frame is not considered.From the previous earthquake disaster investigation, it is found that the filling wall can effectively improve the seismic capacity of the structure, but the effectiveness is based on the reasonable layout of the filling wall.When the arrangement is not reasonable at that time, not only can not it strengthen the structure of the seismic performance of the structure,instead, it will aggravate the damage of the main structure, and cause serious collapse.Such as the "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake, many houses were damaged due to the failure of the filling wall.In view of this,When considering the effect of the filling wall, it is not simple to convert it to the load.It is also necessary to design in accordance with the actual situation and make that the structure can meet the "strong column and weak beam" seismic fortification goal as far as possible.In view of the above problems, it is discussed mainly from the following aspects:First of all, based on the previous models, the diagonal braces is used to simulate the filling wall.The parameter is calculated with formula proposed by foreign scholars and the calculated results are compared.Finally, the effective width of the diagonal brace is determined.Secondly, a school student apartment building is took as an example and using SAP2000 to build a model.In the horizontal direction and vertical direction, the two kinds of situations are considered,through the modal analysis, the natural period and the cycle reduction coefficient of each model are obtained.The influence of the filling wall on the natural period of the structure is demonstrated, and the results of the analysis are compared with that of the standard.Furthermore, the elastic time history analysis is used to discuss the seismic performance of the filled wall in the case of multiple earthquakes.Through the nonlinear time history analysis, it is proved that the unreasonable arrangement of the filling wall can cause the great change of the structure and the internal force of the structure under rare earthquake.In particular,the structure can be twisted by the unreasonable arrangementalong the horizontal direction, which is very disadvantageous to the structure.Finally, by using the response spectrum method for the analysis of the when the underlying weak layer, and only change the second layer filling wall thickness to verify the bottom layer and other layers of the displacement and internal force changes, and the suggestion of filling wall thickness problem is given.
