With the development of society,to meet the aesthetic needs of people more and more irregular structure has been designed.Of course noveled and complexed structures are more beautiful than traditional buildings, however, its force is very complex too. Different forms structure of structural distortion and failure mechanism under seismic force are different. Development of an irregular structure also lead to the progress of the seismic theory, so the seismic analysis of irregularities is also very necessary.This paper is plane U-shaped irregular structural response under earthquake and the Energy Dissipation analysis.SAP2000 is the main use of the structural finite element software to modal analysis, response spectrum analysis and history analysis, nonlinear time history analysis under rare earthquake, the structural weaknesses of the judgment, and take measures against seismic strengthening weak parts. The main contents are as follows:(1) Using SAP2000 to establish model, according to the structure of the model determine the structure formation in the first three cycles.And to judge the compliance with regulatory requirements of translation and rotation.(2) In case of multi earthquake discuss the action of irregular structure model in response spectrum analysis, in according to the seismic code allows the maximum displacement and the layer structure between the resulting displacement angle,comparative analysis of the resulting data, and finally determine the structure in the form of design meets the requirements.(3) When performing process analysis, selecting three seismic waves, respectively, in more case to analyze earthquake and rare earthquake, the comparative study of the results when the structural response in the elastic phase spectrum analysis and elastic time history analysis, and then analyzed time history analysis between maximum displacement and the layer under the displacement angle determines the seismic performance and meets the "earthquake not fall," the fortification standards.(4) Do the plane irregular Energy Dissipation structure analysis, according to the inter-layer displacement angle of maximum displacement and weaknesses to determine the structure and set of weaknesses viscoelastic dampers to meet seismic standards.
