Most of the current vehicle automatic weighing system uses computer to connect multiple devices, read the weighing data collected by the weighing instrument and control the weighing process through the weighing management software. Weighing systems generally include vehicle positioning system, weighing instrument, electrical control system and RFID system. Generally it need to build weighbridge offices to set the computer. There is a great space to optimize the weighing system installation and reduce the cost of product.In order to reduce vehicle automatic weighing system hardware cost and simplified on-site installation process, lower computer management software design difficulty, improve vehicle weighing accuracy, realize different weighing system of remote control and management, this paper introduces the design of vehicle automatic weighing system based on Embedded Ethernet communication. Automatic vehicle weighing is enabled and it can be controlled via Ethernet.STMicroelectronics STM32F407ZGT6 is used as control core and the Ethernet communication is realized through the external PHY chip. Code value from the digital weighing sensors is get through the RS485, then accurate weight value is calculated. A serial port industrial screen is used to achieve a better interface and interaction. It is designed to achieve automatic weighing of the vehicle with barrier, red and green lights and position detector. A multi task embedded operating system ?C/OS-II is used in software design, which improves the real-time performance of the system. It is easier to maintain and expand the function in the later period due to software functions are designed with tasks. Ethernet communication program uses the LWIP protocol stack to reduce the difficulty of software development. The least square method is used to calculate the weight, which can reduce the error of the partial load and improve the accuracy of the weighing.This design was started from the functional requirements. After the completion of the program design, it was developed from the hardware and software. After debugging, the system is able to complete the two-way automatic weighing. Its weighing accuracy meets the requirements of electronic truck scale verification regulation. It can realize the unified management of different weighing systems through the long-distance information sharing. The system has the advantages of low cost and high integration in the field of automatic vehicle scale. It has very good application value and development prospects.
