As a renewable energy, wind power has great prospects for development. Therefore, the government has given great support to the development of wind power. With the rapidly development of technology, the capacity of wind turbine becomes larger and larger, and its installation way has developed from the onshore to the offshore at the same time. The product requires high quality, therefore producers must carry out the equivalent test in the manufacturing phase. The large-scale test bed should have higher force control precision and fast respond speed, which makes hydraulic control becoming the best control method, by right of its own advantages. Compared with the electric-mechanical and pneumatic loading methods, hydraulic control has many advantages, such as faster respond speed, higher control precision, lighter weight, and simple control method.The hydraulic loading system of the 15MW wind turbine test-bed, as the topic of this paper, has been studied by using closed-loop control, which could realize accurate force output. According to the technological requirements of the main engine, this paper used PLC to send out control signals and applied force to the important components, which could verify the product quality and whether the design is right.This article describes the scheme principle designing process in detail of the 15MW wind turbine test-bed's hydraulic loading system, and HYVOS software is employed to construct a simulation model of the system. Through the simulation analysis, it could verify the rationality of the parameters setting, such as high-response proportional valve, cooler and hydraulic pump.The paper mainly introduced the valve controlled cylinder system, which is the key part of hydraulic loading system. The prototype was manufactured after principle design and simulation verification, and the test results verify the correctness of the theoretical calculation. The research results show that the closed loop control of high-response proportional valve can be used to realize the loading of accurate force, and then realized the accurate and reliable test of the important components of the wind turbine. All of these have very important reference for other types of force loading test bench.
